I'm pretty happy with this concept. I don't think that it is all that strong for the topic, but I think it works. It's pretty good for a last minute attempt.

I just finished a new piece. It's a personal one. I think it came out really well. I made it 5 by 7 so maybe I'll use it for a new mailer.

I'm sure you are all sick of hearing about this by now, but I'm excited and damn it it's my blog! I got my matte in today from Michael's. I just bought one of their cheap generic frames. I would like to maybe frame some of my ILTA work, but this one is a big deal for me.

Customer Lure

You may notice that this piece is different then what I normally put out. This is my new Saturday Illustration. I am trying to broaden my horizon. I'm trying to make my work more marketable or I guess I should say span more client's taste buds. You'll notice a person and scenery. I still would rather focus on one item, but I have to do what I have to do. I like how this guy turned out. I like him a lot better then my last attempt.

I pitched an idea to the ILTA AD and it turns out we are going a different direction on the current project at hand, but I liked the idea. Hopefully I'll be able to use my idea for a personal piece and have it up sometime soon.

Altpick

I now have an Altpick profile. I have one of the free listings that allows one image at the moment. I'll upgrade in a bit, but I have some expenses coming up, plus there is a call for entries in another month or so and they are giving out free year memberships, maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones!
